Description

This course is about your lifestyle in retirement - how to have a rewarding, fulfilled next chapter of your life. Some folks have done their financial planning for retirement, but have given little or no thought to what they were planning for. Then they retire and experience the loss of identity, time structure, friendships and most of all, meaning and purpose in their lives. All this is uncomfortable at best, and can be devastating.

This course deals with the process of adjusting to a major life change such as retirement - what to expect and when; how to make the adjustment and find a new meaning and purpose in life.

This course contains about 90 minutes in 10 lectures, 7 exercises and a resource list. The lectures are in the form of videos and voice-over power point slides. The exercises are included for self-knowledge, to help you apply the material presented in the lectures to your own situation.

Who is the target audience?
  • People who are thinking about retirement, recently retired, or finding that retirement is not all they had hoped it would be.
