Description

This course consists  of the following  12  postures done in sequence   - postures are carried out   in synchronization with breathing - After doing few repetitions of all these 12 postures - relaxation posture - savasana or dead body posture is done to have complete  rest  and breathing rate which increases during the practice comes to normal state . Each posture is associated with a set of unique benefits to the internal organs of the body  .At the beginning and end are recitations of prayer in Sanskrit which means - Let peace be to all.

  1. Pranamasana or Prayer pose
  2. Hasta Uttanasana or ‘raised arms pose’
  3. Padahastasana or hand to foot pose
  4. Ashwasanchalanasana or the equestrian pose
  5. Parvatasana or mountain pose
  6. Astanga namaskara or salutation with eight limbs
  7. Bhujagasana  or serpent pose
  8. Parvatasana or mountain pose
  9. Ashwasanchalanasana or the equestrian pose
  10. Padahastasana or hand to foot pose
  11. Hasta Uttanasana or ‘raised arms pose’
  12. Pranamasana or Prayer pose
