  • Perfect for those that wish to de-stress and relax.
  • Please dress in loose comfortable clothes and you will need to be barefoot for the yoga posture practice. Your temperature may vary so layers are recommended. You may wish to wear something warm for Yoga Sleep and you can always use a blanket & pillow to make yourself fully comfortable. You will need a yoga mat for the yoga posture class.
  • This course is designed for all ages and abilities. Remember to listen to your body during yoga practice and rest if you need to.
  • I always recommend that if you have special health concerns to consult your Doctor before attending starting Yoga. Please take responsibility for your own body, only you know if a posture is right for you. If you become tired or uncomfortable, release from a posture and rest on your mat.
  • I have never meditated before, will this course be suitable for me? Absolutely, you will be fully guided so this practice is perfect for absolute beginners.

Getting a good night’s sleep is vital for our health and wellbeing.  Just one bad night’s sleep can affect our mood, concentration and alertness and longer term sleep deprivation is linked to a number of serious health problems such as heart disease, diabetes, stroke, depression and other chronic diseases. 

Research by The Sleep Council UK revealed that the majority of Britons (70%) now sleep for seven hours or less per night and more than a quarter (27%) experience poor quality sleep on a regular basis.  An increasing number are now getting by on just five-six hours per night and nearly half of us lose sleep as a result of worry and stress.
