This is an introductory course in Yoga Nidra where you will experience and learn how to teach Yoga Nidra to your family, friends and Yoga students. You will gain theoretical knowledge in the lecture slides and then be able to experience the theory in practise with examples given. Together with the theoretical and practical applications you will be able to then confidently build your own unique practices for future use.
Assess the three different states of consciousness and differentiate between yoga nidra and meditation
how to practice yoga nidra and how to use yoga nidra at the end of a regular yoga class and be able to distinguish between a full traditional yoga nidra and a short version
have a deeper understanding and appreciation of the value of yoga nidra
have a list of options that can assist them when teaching a yoga nidra session
know which movements, postures/asanas and exercises to do before practicing yoga nidra.

Relax the body: from head to toe; from toe to head; from back of body to front; by auto-suggestion; by traditional Satyananda style
