  1. Please start by downloading the .pdf versions of my books on affirmations and constructive questions. (1-2 minutes.) You can read and enjoy these books right now—without having to go to the bookstore and buy physical copies, but more importantly, in the .pdf version, it's easy for you to use them as an inspiration. You can print selected pages out, make notes on them. (I cannot prove that saying affirmations makes me feel better, but I surely know that when I lapse into negative thinking patterns I feel worse.)
  2. Watch Lectures 2 and 3. (4-5 minutes—a total of about 7 minutes.)
  3. Watch the first part of Lecture 4 (2-4 minutes.—a total of about 9 to 11 minutes.)
  4. Scan through the other lectures to see what appeals to you. Note:This is an interactive experiential course. There may be lectures that do not seem interesting now that will seem much more interesting later. Watch the first minute or two of one of them. (A total of about 10 to 13 minutes.)
  5. Scan the book on Constructive Questions that you have downloaded. If one of them jumps out at you, see if you can come up with an answer to it. It will be important. (A total of about 13-15 minutes.)

This meditation is appropriate for anyone who wants to be healed. (Note that being healed is not the same a being cured, although it may be one of the major factors in affecting a cure. See the Ted Lecture in Section 10 entitled Healing Cancer with Meditation: An Enhanced TED Talk for the distinction.)

I custom crafted it for my "Little Brother" in the Big Brother and Big Sister Organization, Briran Culley, who is taking this course and who created his what I call a Healing Package, a combination of an expression of gratitude, an affirmation and a constructive question.

Here's why the elements of a Healing Package work syngeristically for me. I trust that they will work similarly for you.

  • Affirmations inoculate against negativity, but feeling positive is not enough to solve life's issues.
  • Constructive questions (as opposed to destructive questions like, "Why can't I get better?" which will tell me all of the reasons why you I get better) produce answers that come from my inner wisdom. In other words, I know these answers, but can't access them until I ask myself for their solution.
  • Expressions of gratefulness are powerful for me. I, personally, can't feel negative while I am expressing my gratitude to nature, God, someone or something. For example, when I am expressing my gratefulness for the candle that I have featuring Kokopelli (the first candle in this video) I cannot think negative thoughts, and I frequently feel grateful for it while I am watching the candle burn. That's why I choose this candle for the first candle in this video.

A guided meditation that helps you to gather, focus and appreciate the energy in yourself and the Universe.

This meditation is a mashup that enhances the original production of several different elements. Both of these elements (the photo of the Buddha and lotus flower and the narration have been incorporated into my original work. This is within the rights that have been granted to me when a Creative Commons attribution licence was used by the developers. I am placing also releasing this video under a Creative Commons attribution license, and you may feel free to adapt and enhance it.

I've edited out the first minute of so of the mediation, and I've included this information here for you to explore. In this way, you can start the meditation without hearing the prelude each time. (It's written, below, in italics.) I've also removed the images that came with the original video, and I've substituted included material that I've written. You can find more of my constructive questions and affirmations in the resource material in Lecture 7.

If you are someone who often feels ungrounded or you are very sensitive and you find yourself overwhelmed by all of the energies flying around with yours, or you are preparing to channel, or do preparing to do some of the spiritual work that involves coming into contact with high-frequency energies and you just want to assure that you are fully present in your own energy and in your body and fully grounded before you start to work, this is a great meditation, a great technique for preparing the way.

If you do feel thrown off balance, or a little bit spaced out, or a bit clumsy, at certain points during the day--if you feel overstimulated through sensitivity, it's a good way to get in touch with yourself again and find peace and balance.
