5-Star Review by Charles King:
Some pretty cool stuff I was impressed with the way that affirmations were read with three different types of emphasis--that's new to me, and I like the idea of playing a video while I do other things in different windows.

Each person is unique, so I have made many of the lectures and videos available for a free preview, and I encourage you to view them and decide if this course is right for you.

Unlike most courses, this course does not expect you to watch every video (lecture.) I've gone out of my way to provide a wide variety of resources for different types of people.

5-Star Review by Vanessa Davilla

I've gone through the first 11 lessons and feel great I like the way that this course encourages me to think about what's important to me. I already wrote an affirmation and uploaded it with a favorite photo.

This course includes three of my books. The books alone cost $60 or more. They allow you to delve deeper, on your schedule.

This course is being expanded, and you'll have lifetime access to it.

I make you this promise. If you don't find what you are seeking in this course, open a discussion item and tell me what you want. As long as it does not violate someone's copyright rights, I'll make every effort to add that material.

15 Minutes to Getting Value Out of this Course
4 Lectures 15:00

Congratulations on signing up for this course. Here are my suggestions for jumping into the course, and getting value within 15 minutes.

  1. Please start by downloading the .pdf versions of my books on affirmations and constructive questions. (1-2 minutes.) You can read and enjoy these books right now—without having to go to the bookstore and buy physical copies, but more importantly, in the .pdf version, it's easy for you to use them as an inspiration. You can print selected pages out, make notes on them. (I cannot prove that saying affirmations makes me feel better, but I surely know that when I lapse into negative thinking patterns I feel worse.)
  2. Watch Lectures 2 and 3. (4-5 minutes—a total of about 7 minutes.)
  3. Watch the first part of Lecture 4 (2-4 minutes.—a total of about 9 to 11 minutes.)
  4. Scan through the other lectures to see what appeals to you. Note:This is an interactive experiential course. There may be lectures that do not seem interesting now that will seem much more interesting later. Watch the first minute or two of one of them. (A total of about 10 to 13 minutes.)
  5. Scan the book on Constructive Questions that you have downloaded. If one of them jumps out at you, see if you can come up with an answer to it. It will be important. (A total of about 13-15 minutes.)

In this action guide that you can read/download I provide several suggestions for how to inoculate yourself against negative thinking. I explain how I crafted the affirmation, "I am amply able," and I challenge you to write a few affirmations of your own and to share them.

I also challenge you to write down a constructive question.

When you come up with an affirmation and/or constructive question, please share them in the discussion area.

Namaste,

Alan

"I am grateful for the way that Nature refreshes soul," is the theme of this two-minute video which displays a variety of photographs that show some of the places where I have been that have helped me to spiritually recharge. I am planning a series of two minute shows like this, and would love to have your suggestions for the things that make you grateful.

Feeling creative is one of the cornerstones of my life. When life to quote French songwriter Jacquel Brel, "is the color of goose shit," I need to remember that my creativity bring life and color back to my existence. I took the photographs in this video and each of them speaks to me in a special way about being creative. I challenge you to express your creativity through the photos that you take.

Affirmation: I am creative
02:07

This meditation is appropriate for anyone who wants to be healed. (Note that being healed is not the same a being cured, although it may be one of the major factors in affecting a cure. See the Ted Lecture in Section 10 entitled Healing Cancer with Meditation: An Enhanced TED Talk for the distinction.)

I custom crafted it for my "Little Brother" in the Big Brother and Big Sister Organization, Briran Culley, who is taking this course and who created his what I call a Healing Package, a combination of an expression of gratitude, an affirmation and a constructive question.

Here's why the elements of a Healing Package work syngeristically for me. I trust that they will work similarly for you.

  • Affirmations inoculate against negativity, but feeling positive is not enough to solve life's issues.
  • Constructive questions (as opposed to destructive questions like, "Why can't I get better?" which will tell me all of the reasons why you I get better) produce answers that come from my inner wisdom. In other words, I know these answers, but can't access them until I ask myself for their solution.
  • Expressions of gratefulness are powerful for me. I, personally, can't feel negative while I am expressing my gratitude to nature, God, someone or something. For example, when I am expressing my gratefulness for the candle that I have featuring Kokopelli (the first candle in this video) I cannot think negative thoughts, and I frequently feel grateful for it while I am watching the candle burn. That's why I choose this candle for the first candle in this video.
About Kokopelli: This mythical Hopi god is known for bringing renewal, as well as being the god of music, fertility, dance and mischief. To learn more search for KoKopelli, or follow this link: http://www.indigenouspeople.net/kokopelli.htm

The background soundtrack in this video was extracted from Hypnotic Burning Candle Flame ~ Wind Chimes, Heartbeats, Birds and Ocean Waves. Also, the second candle is featured in this video. It was released by Danny Dubravko on this web page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msa8R7VsJx0. Danny said the following when he posted the video:, "Wow!! Try to find one better than this. Meditate, pray, calm down. So relaxing, calming, soothing flame with Chimes, Ocean Waves and Heartbeats. Very nice HD. Please do not copy and upload this video as is. I created this video. You can use this video if you edit it, add some music, add it as part of a compilation. Do link to this video and my channel. Let me know if you are going to use this video. Thank you!" I will do that, and offer Danny a free admission to this course.

"I am self reliant," is an important affirmation for me. There were times in my life where I felt it was out of control, such as when my mother died. Telling myself that I am self reliant reminds me that I have overcome the fear that I could not survive without some of the people whom I loved. I took the photos in this video. Each of them speaks to me in a special way, and helps me to feel that I am truly self reliant.

A guided meditation that helps you to gather, focus and appreciate the energy in yourself and the Universe.

This meditation is a mashup that enhances the original production of several different elements. Both of these elements (the photo of the Buddha and lotus flower and the narration have been incorporated into my original work. This is within the rights that have been granted to me when a Creative Commons attribution licence was used by the developers. I am placing also releasing this video under a Creative Commons attribution license, and you may feel free to adapt and enhance it.

I've edited out the first minute of so of the mediation, and I've included this information here for you to explore. In this way, you can start the meditation without hearing the prelude each time. (It's written, below, in italics.) I've also removed the images that came with the original video, and I've substituted included material that I've written. You can find more of my constructive questions and affirmations in the resource material in Lecture 7.

If you are someone who often feels ungrounded or you are very sensitive and you find yourself overwhelmed by all of the energies flying around with yours, or you are preparing to channel, or do preparing to do some of the spiritual work that involves coming into contact with high-frequency energies and you just want to assure that you are fully present in your own energy and in your body and fully grounded before you start to work, this is a great meditation, a great technique for preparing the way.

If you do feel thrown off balance, or a little bit spaced out, or a bit clumsy, at certain points during the day--if you feel overstimulated through sensitivity, it's a good way to get in touch with yourself again and find peace and balance.

Of all of music that I have listened to over my lifetime, this one song is the one that empowers me to grow spiritually. I am posting it under the Fair Use doctrine of the Copyright Law. It is being used for educational purposes, and the listing of the song is unlikely to reduce sales. In fact,it may stimulate sales of the album, December, which was published years ago.

Marée BASS is from Périgueux, France. I wasn't familiar with the meaning of the name so I looked it up. http://www.babynamewizard.com/baby-name/girl/maree and various other sources. Some sources say it means ocean tide. Baby Name wizard says, "French cognate of Mary, which is derived from the Hebrew Miryām, a name of debated meaning. Many believe it to mean "sea of bitterness" or "sea of sorrow." However, some sources cite the alternative definitions of "rebellion," "wished-for child," and "mistress or lady of the sea." The name is borne in the Bible by the mother of Jesus, the son of God."

Whatever her name means, she writes evocative music, and I encourage you to listen to this version. The source of the file is https://soundcloud.com/mareebass if you want to learn more about her.

Amazon Bestselling Author - Highly Rated Instructor

As you can see from this page, my courses are diverse and have a four-star and five-star ratings.

For 2016 and 2017 I've decided to focus on:

(1) Creating a series of courses for sales and telephone sales. These are based on telling the truth in the most positive way; and

(2) Creating a series of courses that empower adults (and children) to write children's books. Many of the skills that you glean will transfer over to other fiction, and some non-fiction writing.

I create courses where I actually write a children's book, explain how I've written it, and then walk you through the steps of writing your own book.

I have purposely made these courses short and I write one book per course. You can peek over my shoulder and see how I do it.  Then, you are challenged to write your own book.

If you want to write a book, this is the course for you.  And, all of my courses (writing and otherwise) have a better-than-money-back guarantee. I'll answer any questions you have, usually within 2 business days. (This is a big deal. If you were to write to my publisher, it would take me about a month to get  your inquiry.)

The courses are appropriate for anyone over age 18 and children of all ages. A helper is required for children under age 13. Helpers typically are a:

* Parent

* Grandparent

* Teacher

* Older sibling

* Uncle, Aunt or other relative

* Neighbor (Age 18+)

* Friend (Age 18 +)

When you take these courses you will be able to write a book, help a child write a book. A special treat is to write a book that you will give, or dedicate, to a child.
