Description

This is a series of introductory lectures explaining cancer. I realised that as a medical doctor explaining what cancer is - is really confusing and to do a good job takes time. I clearly remember the day n medical school when we started studying cancer-  it was a lightbulb moment for me. So that's what cancer is!  Suddenly the whole thing made sense. I'd like to share that with you.

The aim of this course is to give you a grounding in what cancer is and what different terms mean. The lectures are short and may form the basis of a whole series where I will go on to explain different types of cancers.

You should take this course if you want to understand what this term "cancer" really means. It only covers medical science based treatment, such as that provided my medical doctors and cancer specialists.

If you can understand our body is made of cells- then you have enough knowledge to do this course!

Who is the target audience?
  • Based on science, medicine and our current knowledge. Not recommended for those seeking alternative or complementary healing as this is not addressed.
  • You will need to be willing to learn some biology- but only a little bit!
