Zahara Jade (Shana Bilfield, M.A.) is a visionary and creator with traditional education from University of Michigan and Kent State in Clinical Psychology. World traveler, yogini, artist and writer, Zahara has spent half a decade immersed in the Far East learning different cultures, religions, and practices of yoga, meditation, energy and bodywork. Her passions of healing through movement, energy, and art began as a personal journey and now extend to help global mankind. Present day, her manifestation of healing is her line of healing jewelry, P.R.A.Y. (Pure Rock Angel Yogi).
Having hand-crafted jewelry as a young child to sooth herself while sick, Zahara now seeks to share her love and the benefits of healing through jewelry (specifically malas) with others. Zahara teaches MalaLicious Mala Workshops around the world to yogis and every day people alike, as well as setting up NGO projects around mala making for terminally ill patients in India to both calm mind-body-spirit and help them generate income.
Zahara believes that similar to designing and creating the mala of your dreams, it is up to each of us to create the life of our dreams. Yoga, creativity, intention, living with gratitude, an open heart, and an open mind are all part of helping us move towards this life.
Zahara currently writes for Elephant Journal along with other spiritual and socially conscious platforms and is working on her autobiography sharing her story of finding her truth, her life's purpose while walking a path towards consciousness.
