My journey to becoming a therapist began with a deep curiosity about human behavior and the motivations that drive us. This passion led me to study Psychology at Chico State, Counseling at Sacramento State, and eventually Applied Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work across a multitude of modalities, including clinic settings for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with children (aged 2-18) and their families as a parent coach. From here, I've worked in group private practice, school-based mental and behavioral health, and community mental and behavior health.
My experience in ABA has translated into a therapeutic style that prioritizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused therapy, to name a few. I also I meet the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) qualifications to provide clinical supervision to associates seeking licensure.
My eclectic experience provides me with a unique and well rounded perspective which allows me to be flexible and meet my clients where they're at. Together we can explore how your thoughts, emotions, behaviors and values interact, and brainstorm new ways to help you reach your therapeutic goals!
