Originally I worked in systems migrations and consultancy mainly to banks and large finance companies. I started my own business after that and worked extensively with emerging technologies such as graph databases, big data, deep learning, and since 2016 with blockchains.
I was struck by the power of the blockchain concept which seeks to remove the TTP (trust third party) from a contract relationship. I implemented a range of demos using Ethereum and Hyperledger; I worked with Go, and solidity along with cloud servers, truffle, and geth.
I have been involved with the blockchain community since 2016 which has involved hosting an exhibition stand, attending hackathons, presenting, writing white papers, and providing advice.
There is little doubt that blockchains provide a basis to revolutionise commerce due to the decentralised concepts which allow growth in the developing world.
