Over two decades ago, my journey into health and fitness began under challenging circumstances.
After having my children, I found myself struggling with severe anxiety and panic attacks. It was during this tumultuous time that a friend suggested I try weight lifting as a potential remedy. Although I was hesitant, I decided to give it a try. Not only did weight lifting alleviate my panic attacks, but it also sparked a passion for fitness that has never faded.
But then I encountered even more challenges. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, enduring severe pain in my upper torso, neck, and shoulders. At the time, it felt like a life sentence.
I was also struggling with a poor diet and a very toxic relationship. Realizing the critical role nutrition plays in health and how negative stress levels triggered flare ups, I decided to make some big changes. Embracing a healthier diet and removing myself from the harmful relationship were difficult, but with support from friends and family, it was unbelievably transformative. Slowly but surely, the pain vanished. Driven by a newfound sense of purpose, I returned to school to study Holistic Health Coaching, Life Coaching, and Art Therapy Coaching. This healing journey enabled me to blend physical fitness, nutrition, and mental well-being into a holistic approach, which now inspires others to find their own path to health and healing.
Today, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to guide others towards healthier lives. Reflecting on how far I’ve come, I can’t imagine my life without having taken that initial step. It is this ongoing growth and a chance to make a positive impact that enriches my life.
