I work primarily as a therapist/coach in the areas of stress and anxiety and related conditions. I work both 1-2-1 and in groups and run courses inside and outside of the workplace.
In a previous career as technical director of an online retailer I worked too many hours, took too few breaks and did nothing to manage stress. As a result I made myself ill and and eventually wound up in hospital.
Soon after that I retrained as a therapist and left the world of IT with the intention of helping others who have been affected in the same way that I have.
I have a unique perspective on stress. When people talk to me about panic attacks, feeling overwhelmed and any of the other common symptoms of stress I know what they are talking about, not because I've read it in a book, but because I've been though it.
I am approved therapist for Anxiety UK.
I regularly work with Mind (mental health charity) helping people with extreme anxiety and panic attacks.
I hold the following qualifications:
Diploma in advanced stress management
Fully qualified hypnotherapist
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) practitioner
I am a member of and regulated by the General Hypnotherapy Register and the CNHC.
