Ștefan is a computer scientist turned journalist, turned language tutor. His love for languages, and specifically for Romanian, made him combine all his skills into one and create the Romanian Academy.

Since the pandemic hit he has taught Romanian to hundreds of students worldwide, making sure they understand and apply their skills in the real world. His alumni have now a functional, happy life in Romania, manage to have deep conversations with their in-laws, understand their workmates’ jokes, and last but not least, they became their own Romanian teachers.
