Music has always been a big part of Sherwin's life. He's been avidly pursuing classical piano since the age of five, now accumulating over ten years of experience; he also has over a decade of experience in choir. Sherwin focuses on classical piano literature, advanced music theory and analysis, sight reading, and aural training. Now, he has even begun composing original piano and choral music.

Sherwin passed Level 10, or the highest (“Advanced”) level, of the Certificate of Merit piano program, scoring 98% on the Theory and Aural Exam, and ultimately earning a 5+ (maximum) rating with Honors. He also scored a perfect 5 on the AP Music Theory Exam, including a 5 on both Aural and Non-aural subscores.
