Shawnequa Alleyne

About me
After graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park I left feeling that I learned more about the importance of performing due diligence, credit scores, value internships, and understanding the value of knowing my worth in the last few months of being an undergraduate.
Being myself, being assertive and not being afraid take a risk landed me my first job and a successful career of over 23 years in Human Resources. My professional and personal experiences serve as the backdrop for my desire and commitment to “paying it forward” through service and public speaking globally. More recently, it was through the passing of my mother and the elimination of my job that convinced me to come from behind the shadows and fulfill my purpose to help others globally through service.
My platform is influencing and encouraging others to “Live, Laugh and Love Unapologetically” through sharing my skills, my knowledge, my resources, my story, and my time with those that desire to be better, do better, and make a positive change in their life.
My teaching style, content, and flow allows for and includes active listening, diversity, inclusiveness and accessibility to all attendees.
