Sean Shannon is a musician, engineer, and educator who has been making records for labels and independent artists for 30 years. His work history includes some of the top names in music, and he has traveled much of the world as a world touring drummer with bands like Molly Hatchet, Pat Travers, Brian Howe's Bad Co and others. Originally from western New York, Sean earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia (The Science of Music Production, 1987). Sean is the founder of Mixing The Band, the mixing course for audio engineers and musicians and The Mixing Workshop, the in-studio hands-on mixing and ear training course. Sean is also a contributing writer to Recording Magazine.
