Scott Schimmel

President and Chief Guide of the YouSchool

Over fifteen years of training and development work with students, young professionals, executives, and military in transition. As President and Chief Guide of the YouSchool, Scott uniquely knows how to unlock the potential in people. Working in either 1-1, small group or large group facilitation, Scott's uncommon sense approach to personal exploration has helped thousands of people discover their potential and live into it.

Scott spent over a decade working with college students through a large national leadership development non-profit, coaching them in 1-1, small group and large group formats to thrive through transition to gainful employment and self-reported wellbeing. Since starting YouSchool in January 2013, Scott has had the opportunity work as a coach, speaker and trainer in a variety of demographics: gang prevention programs for high schoolers, college transition to career, senior execs, stay-at-home moms, and Navy Seals. People describe him as "engaging, practical, funny, and dynamic."

With a full work load he also finds the time to coach youth sports for his three kids, drink an exorbitant amount of coffee, and continue to woo his wife of eleven years.
