Wildlife Artist and MSc Marine Biologist
Hi, I'm Sarah, and I am now a full-time wildlife artist after my marine biology career of 8 years.
I have spent months searching for whales, catching penguins, and my research is published in marine mammal science. My teaching background includes classes at the University of British Columbia and Dalhousie University, including 1st-year ecology courses, 3rd-year marine mammalogy (a.k.a. dolphins, seals, polar bears) and 3rd-year advanced animal behaviour.
Travelling for fieldwork and teaching students were the highlights of my work - and I am so stoked to continue my love of teaching at Udemy!
Since 2019 I have been a member of Artists for Conservation, donating a proportion of my sales to conservation efforts that support the animals I feature in my work. I love learning about animals, helping them thrive, and I love my work creating art and spreading awareness on their behalf.
