Sagar is an acute-businessman (Be Aware! He doesn’t like being called an entrepreneur). His white label agency spends more than $272K+ in advertising alone and is responsible for generating $300K+ in revenue for the white label partner’s clients.
Being from a businessmen’s family with a computer engineering background, Sagar understands both sides of the world and believes in creating businesses that generate profits unlike most of the start-ups. In just 2 years of operation as a white label digital marketing agency, his agency was nominated for 2 awards.
He started his journey as a businessman in late 2014 during his Christmas Holidays. He along with his brother Mayur (who also is a computer science engineer) developed cloud-based software for HRs. They soon understood that the product they had developed was a failure but had been introduced to digital marketing – which is getting popular that time.
Equipped with this thick skin for sales, they started hunting digital marketing projects as a freelancer. Amazingly Sagar was able to close his first project in just 2 weeks. Soon, these Shah siblings mastered digital marketing and started taking projects under the hood of Publicity Port. Mayur was responsible for project delivery whereas Sagar was responsible for getting projects/clients; this holds true even today.
Publicity Port had most of its clients from USA & Canada as Sagar was available for work from 6:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST, as he had to attend his college in the morning. In 2018, after a few months of passing out from the college Sagar joined the team fulltime and soon landed a client worth $50K.
In late 2018, Publicity Port pivoted towards becoming a 100% white label digital marketing agency. Since then, the company has supported many agencies who collectively generate $300K+ in total revenue as of January 2020.
