Ron Davis is a polymath, which is a pretentious way of saying he knows a little about a lot of different stuff. Programmer, photographer, paramedic, podcaster.
In June of 2009 Ron started the Photographer and Model podcast where he and his model partner interviewed models and photographers. (He was the photographer incase his picture made you think he was the model.) It ran for 3+ years and 119 episodes.
In June 2010 he started Confessions of an EMS Newbie, a weekly discussion of Ron’s journey through EMT and Paramedic school. It was one of the top rates EMS podcasts at the time despite Ron being a complete neophyte. His partner Kelly Greyson was the expert. EMS Newbie ran for over 2 years and 83 episodes.
In 2014 Ron launched a video game startup. In the process he executive produced the Say Something Smart podcast. He mentored the producer and trained the hosts. Get his list of the gear they used here.
He’s taught apologetics, studied firearms in the desert, and been licensed to raise the dead by the American Heart Association. Now he’s teamed up with his good friend to teach people to break past their mental barriers and build a show that lasts.
