Dr. Romana Gulshani is a researcher, educator, and consultant in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. She is a visiting faculty with IIM, Bangalore. She earned her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and brings over 15 years of combined academic and industry experience. Her work bridges the gap between HR research and practice, with a focus on helping organizations—especially startups and growing businesses—scale effectively through people management.

She is also the founder of Peoplent, an HR research and learning organization that partners with entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses to build strong teams, design effective people practices, and develop leadership capabilities. She also designs and delivers courses on HR, Hospitality and Artificial Intelligence in HR.

Dr. Gulshani has designed and taught courses on Performance Management, Generative AI in HR, and HR skills for the future workforce. Her teaching approach blends research-based insights, practical frameworks, and hands-on tools to make learning directly applicable to the workplace.
