Robert Jay Martin
Master of Health and Exercise
Rob Martin is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is also certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Detroit-Mercy where he was an NCAA Division I track athlete. He has excelled as a runner and weightlifter and has also demonstrated high-level skill in the sports of basketball, football, and most recently mountain biking.
Rob is a passionate trainer and coach who draws upon the successes in his own athletic career to help educate and motivate his clients. His professional approach ensures that each of his clients receive the customized attention they need to attain their goals. From 8 years old to 90; from novice to elite; whether you are looking to lose weight, get in shape, or gain that edge over your competition, Rob can get you there. Even if you are starting with a physical challenge or wellness deficiency, he can get you on the right track.
As his passion has grown, so has his involvement in the wellness industry. Rob has written and published 5 books and has created this lecture series, 5 Keys to an Ideal Body, to help you create the healthy habits necessary to get what you want. He’s even created an apple app, available on the iPhone, iPod, and iPad called iLog1, to help you record your progress.
Rob is a husband and father of three beautiful children. He LOVES basketball, mountain biking, new challenges, and teaching others, as well. He and his family make it a point to enjoy life by exploring the country in their RV. He’s a photographer, a model, an actor and loves the beach, fast cars, and helping his friends achieve their health and wellness dreams.
