About Rachel Sparkes

"Australia's Leading Career Transformation Expert" - Huffington Post

Career and Business Transformation Expert obsessed with empowering people and companies to reach their full potential.

Hailing from a strong background in IT Recruitment and HR Consulting for predominately technology companies, she's like a HR Consultant, Leadership Facilitator and Executive Career Coach rolled into one - who happens to speak IT.

After investing and losing almost $100K in an IT Recruitment company that went under during the GFC, she went on her own inner journey to ask 'What would I LOVE to do for a living' but equally as important 'How can I make money doing it?'

The outcome has been running her own HR Consultancy for start-ups and SME tech businesses - 'Daemax Consulting' and a career and business coaching consultancy 'I Heart My Job' for the past 6 years where she helps professionals all over the world with her writing, online programs, 1:1 mentoring, speaking, and corporate workshops.

A highlight was being the exclusive in-house Career Navigator at Sportsbet.com.au!

Rachel is all about helping people reach their full potential. She coaches individuals who want to feel deeply aligned to their work so they naturally perform better.

Her approach is simple. Create both MOMENTUM and MEANING in your career by knowing your personal 'WHY' and designing your career - the 'WHAT. '

"Deliberately design your career, don't let it just happen to you. When you align the 'personal why' with the organisation 'what' and magic happens.

Especially in start-ups and tech it's easy to get caught up in 'busy'....YOU need to allow time and space for 'delivery' as well as 'development' of the individual for ultimate performance, longevity and earning potential."

For companies she works with, she encourages leadership that truly creates trust and connection with each team member instead of 'whipping' the delivery stick 24/7.

"It's not only good for the bottom line, it actually makes work enjoyable for leaders again too!"

Love your work!
