About me
I’m Purankumar Gajera, an engineering professional with 13+ years of hands-on experience in ISO 17025–based testing laboratories, power electronics R&D, product certification, and embedded system development.
My career has allowed me to work across a wide spectrum of technologies—from EMI/EMC testing and power converter design to industrial automation and global compliance standards.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Electronics, a Bachelor’s in Physics, and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Microprocessor Systems and Applications. This strong academic foundation has helped me build deep technical expertise in both hardware and software domains.
For more than a decade, I have led critical testing activities under ISO/IEC 17025, conducted EMI/EMC evaluations as per IEC, CISPR, and MIL standards, and contributed to over a dozen R&D projects in power electronics and embedded systems. These projects included EV chargers, voltage dip and interruption systems, solar-based solutions, wireless battery chargers, fiber-optic sensors, and more.
During this period, I also published nine research papers at national and international conferences through organizations such as IEEE, IEEMA, and CIGRE, and received multiple recognitions, including a Best R&D Performance Award.
I further expanded my industry experience by leading R&D initiatives in HVAC systems, PLC/HMI automation, and IoT dashboard development.
Currently, I am engaged in certification and compliance activities and actively involved in establishing an ISO/IEC 17025-based laboratory for bi-directional grid-tied power converter systems, aligned with global standards such as IEC 61683, IEC 62109, UL 1741, and IEEE 1547.
My core strengths include embedded programming, DSP-based development, PCB design tools, compliance engineering, and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
What truly drives me is the passion to simplify complex engineering concepts, solve real-world technical problems, and help others build confidence in advanced electronics and testing methodologies.
When I’m not designing or testing systems, I spend my time exploring AI, machine learning, product failure analysis, and practicing yoga and meditation.
Through my courses, my goal is simple:
to share practical, industry-tested knowledge that empowers learners to build, test, and innovate with confidence.
