Digital Marketer

I have been in the digital industry for 8 years working both client and agency side. During this tenure I've been the sole architect and business leader for a number of successful digital startups. I've also led a number of internal digital marketing and mobile teams, driving innovation strategies for the future. Before moving to the US, I worked my way up to board-level for one of the UK’s largest media publishers. Whilst there I was responsible for shaping the entire digital strategy. In 2012 I was awarded the ICMA 'best digital innovation' award for work on an smb marketing platform. More recently I have been exploring the notion that marketers need to think like publishers and hold attention, rather than grabbing it. This has led me to explore social channels at a deeper level.
