oh HACK no! started with one goal: help protect families from scammers.

There are 3 parts to the scam problem in 2026.

1. The scam industry is growing faster than ever, with AI increasing the pace, quantity and believability of attacks every day.

2. Most people think the same thing until it's too late: "I'd never fall for that."

3. And scammers deliberately target parents and grandparents to drain their life savings, counting on isolation, trust and a lifetime of good faith.

So we set out to build something that fixes that. An online course that's easy to understand, uses real examples and skips the confusing cybersecurity lingo. Just clear, simple lessons that reveal the patterns scammers use over and over again.

And we didn't stop there. We also built a Scam Scanner app, a newsletter that keeps families updated on the latest tricks going around, and a printable PDF cheat sheet with questions to ask when something feels even a little off.

Everything we do comes back to that same goal: helping the people we love stay one step ahead of the people trying to take advantage of them.
