Nick Iden is an award winning music producer and entrepreneur based out of Kitchener Ontario. During his 15 years of audio production, he has been fortunate to work with artists both major and independent. In 2008 he founded the music school Brixton Music which focuses on the teaching of audio production and music theory.
Nick started as a session guitar player in 2000 doing work in famous studios such as Metalworks, Phase One and Voodoo records. It was during this time he fell in love with the production side of music. Nick studied audio production and songwriting from Berklee College of music. In 2008 Nick established Brixton Music, a recording studio/production company that focused on the development of new artists. Nick has had the honour or working with artists such as Juno winners Choclair, Blue Rodeo, Rob Szabo, The Happy Mondays, Beady eyes and Ani DiFranco.
In 2012 Brixton Music switched gears and started to focus on audio production education. Since then Nick has worked with over 200 students and mentors up and coming engineers all around the world.
