Neville Mandimika has worked his way up from trainee analyst to Economist and Portfolio Manager at a multi-million dollar asset management company in Africa. He has been involved with analyzing both listed and unlisted companies across African equity markets including South Africa, Morocco, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and Kenya. Moreover, he has been involved in fixed income analysis and deal structuring. In his current role he is responsible for business development and portfolio analysis for pension funds and high net worth individuals in Africa.
Neville has been involved in the Economics, Finance and Investment field both academically and as a practitioner for more than 10 years. Academically, Neville is a Masters graduate from the prestigious Rhodes University. Additionally, he has published in the South African Journal of Economics and is a member of the South African Institute of Financial Markets.
As a lecturer I was responsible to teaching 1st, 2nd and 3rd year economics students on the elementary principles of economics which is the bedrock to understanding the concepts of investments.
I am really passionate about seeing people create an additional stream of income by using the world of financial markets. I am a strong believer that through understanding the basics, complexity becomes easier to grasp.
