For over 30 years Monica has enjoyed working in the medical imaging field. She graduated from the School of Radiology and subsequently Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound to include obstetrics and is currently a member of the Canadian Association of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Irish Institute of Radiography and the British Medical Ultrasound Society.
She has mentored to patients undergoing fertility treatment and also mentored as well as provided diagnostic ultrasound to thousands of expectant parents.
She has lectured at University College Dublin Ireland and been trained by the Tiny Tickers Organization and King's College Fetal echocardiography in the UK (a better start for tiny hearts).
Monica opened up her own dedicated diagnostic ultrasound centre in 2007 and subsequently founded PregnancyChat an online forum and a detailed information site that has supported over two million expectant parents. In 2013 Monica developed an effective labour guide. In 2014 developed a 30 minute yoga course to help expectant Mom's ready their breath and their bodies for labour and birth.
Monica is the proud Mother of six children. With her own first hand experience of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy and successful pregnancy and birth she has, and continues to offer information and support to pregnant families around the world.
