I’m deeply passionate about light and I’ve spent more than 10 years honing my skills. My control of light frees me, and is one of the core reasons for my success. In my portraiture my goal is to show the beauty, grace, strength and enthusiasm of people. My recent focus has been on photographing environmentalists, explorers, scientists and those pushing humanity forward.

My work places people in exaggerated situations that highlight an aspect of who they are. I look for a sense of defiance and fortitude in my work.
