About me
I am a senior organizational development professional, with almost two decades of experience in consulting and course creation and delivery in the corporate and public sector.
During my professional career as an HR consultant in PwC I was lucky to be involved in consulting projects for international and local clients on a wide range of HR issues (from resourcing, to reward and organizational development).
In the more recent years, my focus has moved towards learning in the organisations. I have been heavily involved in training needs analysis, design, and delivery of training solutions. Working as a co-designer and a tutor on CIPD qualification programmes increased my desire to continuously explore new trends in HR profession and evaluate their impact on organisations.
On the other hand, conducting a PhD research on informal learning in the workplace, in a highly dynamic knowledge organization, demonstrated vividly the enormous amount of learning that is happening every day. This realization moved my interests from question How can we design a good training? to How can we create an environment which supports and strengthens employees` learning?
Therefore, my current professional enthusiasm is centered around exploring the ways in which we can stimulate learning by tapping into the social and collaborative learning that is already going on in the workplace. Another topic, closely related to this one is - how can we use technology to enhance learning? In my experience, technology brings wonderful opportunities for improving flexibility and accessibility of tutor led activities, supporting social and collaborative learning, and for collecting data to evaluate our efforts.
