Mick Hartley Psychiatric Nurse and Psychotherapist has over 30 years helping people resolve difficulties in their life. He has had a deep interest in understanding peoples struggles and has spent many years integrating knowledge from psychology, psychotherapy and spirituality to make sense of these experiences.
In 1985 Mick began his career working with children on a progressive psychiatric ward in Leeds. This was a great foundation for future experiences. From this he qualified as a Registered Mental Nurse in 1993 and then gained a BSc in Psychology from Lancaster University. Mick started his training in psychotherapy in 1994 whilst at Lancaster University. He has been in private psychotherapy practice for the past 20 years.
Mick grew up in the Yorkshire Dales and now lives in Surrey. His main interests are being in nature, playing the cello and cycling.
