Dr. Mark Bowles is a Professor of History at American Public University System. He earned his Ph.D. in the history of technology from Case Western Reserve University, an MBA in technology management, an MA in history, and a BA in psychology. He is a former NASA historian and has authored over 15 books, including award-winning works on NASA, textbooks on digital literacy and the history of science, and Creating Plato’s Cave: Video Game History from Pong to Simulation.
