Maria G. Balderas has a BS in Food Biochemical Engineering and more than 20 years experience as a professional instructor.

Her passion in baking and cookie decorating led her to start selling cookies for her friends and family and later on she opened her Etsy shop. Through her shop she could provide unique and delicious creations for costumers nation wide.   

Ten years ago she started blogging about her journey in the cookie decorating world, not only as a baker, but also as an entrepreneur. For the last four years she also has been sharing her knowledge through her YouTube channel, The Cookie Couture Channel, working on inspiring people of all ages to begin their own cookie decorating journeys .
