Manish Gupta, CA, is a Chartered Accountant, Group CFO, hospitality finance executive, author, and educator with more than 23 years of professional experience.

His career spans hotel finance, operations, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, profitability management, internal controls, ERP implementation, finance transformation, and multi-property leadership across India, Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Central Africa.

He currently leads group finance for a diversified portfolio covering hotels, hotel developments, commercial and residential assets, and franchised retail operations. Previously, as CFO of Myanmar Treasure Hotel and Resort, he led an ERP rollout across 15 hotels, strengthened shared services and management reporting, and trained more than 100 managers and team members in P&L management and budgeting.

His earlier career with Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts included finance leadership positions in Bangkok and Chiang Mai and operational assignments in Yangon, Manila, and Boracay.

Manish is the founder of eHotel Management School (eHMS) and author of the eHMS Press hospitality-finance series. His courses are designed around practical hotel situations, calculations, management decisions, and operating workflows rather than theory alone.
