At Rewire Trauma Therapy we offer online body-based, somatic movement therapies to trauma survivors and practitioners worldwide. Select courses offer CE credits.
Body-based therapy is a trauma focused approach that emphasizes the interconnectedness of the mind and body to foster physiological and psychological well-being.
Rewire Trauma Therapy integrates over 8 movement-centered therapies into 10-minute daily guided exercises including Somatic Experiencing, Qigong, Vagal Toning, and Trauma-Informed Yoga into short neuroplasticity exercises that help calm the traumatized nervous system to teach the body how to re-accommodate feelings of safety, calm and trust. These exercises are accompanied by theory videos led by experts in the field or trauma treatment and research.
These have been proven to help the body to access and release stored tissue memory and regulate the nervous system to facilitate healing. These therapies prioritize working with the body before engaging in talk-therapy approaches, as they tend to require a more regulated nervous system for effective outcomes.
*These courses are sensitively curated by psychiatry nurse Tanya Zajdel, RN and her team of counselors.
