Lindy Irving is a lecturer in Essential & Core Skills at Edinburgh College in the UK, as well as an award winning Speaker, Trainer & Coach.
Lindy has designed and delivered Training Programs and Presentations for organizations such as the BBC, NHS, University of Glasgow, University of Edinburgh Business School, BAYT (Middle East), Healthcare Conferences UK, British Dental Health Foundation, SHARE, Motorola, NBF (National Bank of Fujairah), 3W Networks, Coach 2 Deliver, Apex Training & Development, Belfast City Council, VSS Belfast, Bridge of Hope, Belfast and South Lanarkshire NHS and JET2.
Lindy has won a number of Public Speaking contests, including runner-up in 2009 UK & Ireland Public Speaking Championships - Evaluation Contest, and was recently a 2015 TEDx speaker with her powerful speech "Holy Black Dog Batman! Superheroes vs Stigma".
Lindy is a fully certified Life Coach and NLP Practitioner having trained in both the UK & USA, holds an MA (Hons) Psychology from the University of Glasgow, and is currently completing a Masters degree in Mental Health Recovery & Social Inclusion.
Previous positions held include: Director at LindyIrving Training & Development, Training Manager Apex Training & Development, Radio Presenter for Celtic Music Radio and President of Toastmasters International - Southside Speakers Public Speaking Club. Lindy has appeared on the BBC, Sky Living, STV and in a number of UK newspapers and magazines.
Lindy currently spends her time travelling between the UK, Middle East and Asia.
