Liisa is Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Certified Psychotherapist and Buddhist Teacher, (S.T.M.) in Unity in Duality.

Liisa has helped thousands of people in the USA, Europe and Asia. She has given workshops and retreats in ten countries all around the world and has been teaching at various psychotherapy training programs in many countries. She has been a practising psychologist in 30 years in psychiatric clinics in USA, Finland and Sweden as well as at her private practices in several countries.

She has been teaching Unity in Duality at the request of Ph. D. Tarab Tulku XI Rinpoche since the 1990's. She has also practiced zen (she completed her koan-practice in 2004), and is a certified yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance 400 hrs).

She has given courses to mental health professionals, as well as retreats for wider audiences, in the United States, Europe and Asia.
