My name is Lex, and I have over 10 years of experience as a data visualisation expert at a multinational. I specialise in creating charts that are clear and easy to understand. It’s save to say that in this role, I have literally designed thousands of charts.

Although I have read many books and attended numerous trainings on data visualisation, I never found a teaching method that was truly sufficient. That’s why I decided to develop my own training, which I have delivered to many colleagues over the years. And it’s their enthusiastic responses that inspired me to transform the training into a video course, allowing me to share my knowledge with a wider audience.

Before delving into the field of data visualisation, my career took a somewhat unconventional path. After studying applied mathematics and philosophy of technology, I first ventured into video production and later into graphic design. In hindsight, this was the perfect cocktail of experiences to develop this course, where I can bring all my skills together.

I have always been fascinated by the art of explaining complex concepts in a simple and engaging way. That's why communicating through data visualisations appeals to me so much. And that's also why I’ve invested a lot of time and effort into designing my course as clearly as possible :-).
