I am an information technology professional with 30+ years experience. I have utilized online training tools and conferencing to train large groups of overseas employees how to support internet-based television and web products. I have supported large server farms, operating systems and hardware, and voice/data/video systems. I have particular skills and interest in database systems and clustering/virtual servers. I also have teaching experience as a Class A Professional Golfers Association (PGA) club professional.

For example, at Verizon:

As Intel Systems Support Engineer, supported systems including Retail COFEE Billing,, First Rate, AVS, and many others. Was on the team that performed the initial rollout of the Retail COFEE Billing SQL cluster systems to Tampa, Ft. Wayne, IN, and Sacramento California. Worked closely with DBAs, Microsoft, and EMC to test and deploy the NetBackup and EMC snap backup intrastructure as well as Oracle Failsafe backup architecture. Provided same support to the initial rollout of systems and infrastructure.

As an application support lead consultant, have provided support for retail and AES systems including IT Workbench, IOBI, and Fios TV, including rollout of widgets, IMG software, Video On Demand, Flexview and all FiosTV-related software. Responsible for training 50 new production support members in systems support and coordinating with NOC support and call center set top box support personnel across 10 Fios TV regions.

Have developed expertise in data warehousing, sql server integration services (SSIS), sql reporting services, and sharepoint 2010/2007/2003 through managing and reporting on team metrics.

As a PGA teaching Professional:

Completed PGA and LPGA apprenticeship programs and obtained Class A membership in both teaching professional divisions. Played some events on the Central Florida Challenge players' tour. Utilized computer skills to provide own services for management of merchandising, club management, conduct of tournaments, and teaching programs.

As a Government Contractor:

Managed the local contractor/subcontractor team that provided configuration and data management services to the military at Fort Monmouth, NJ. Contracts included the Joint STARS project.

As an Officer in the United States Air Force:

As an embedded systems analyst at Headquarters Tactical Air Command at Langley AFB, managed acquisition through all stages of the life cycle of F-16, F-15E, A-10 Thunderbolt and LANTIRN embedded computer systems. As lead systems manager at the Warrior Preparation center, supported and managed acquisition and complete operation of the computer systems required to host NATO wargaming simulations. Managed a staff of Air Force personnel and subcontractors that successfully deployed the first encrypted satellite-based voice/data/video multinational wargame simulation which allowed NATO command staff to engage in the integrated air-land battle simulation from Germany to Fort Riley, Kansas.
