Although Kimberly's well known for her community outreach, she shares, "I’m a mom before I’m anything else. Damon is twelve, Autumn is eleven, and Alyssa is eight. My kids drive me crazy with their incessant fighting, arguing over where someone is going to sit, and whining about how life isn’t fair. But it is these three precious beings that push me forward, allow me to marvel about the firsts of everything, and realize with each passing day how to love with a fierceness I can’t even begin to describe.”
Kimberly is a WEEK 25 Women in Leadership Award Winner as well as a YWCA Women of Distinction Award Nominee. She has had the honor of being a weekly newspaper columnist for The Pantagraph in Bloomington, Illinois, and the Herald & Review in Decatur, Illinois, and is a contributor to other media platforms.
Kimberly is the author of Coupons for a Cause, as well as an advocate and speaker who facilitates hope among her audiences and clientele. She loves public speaking, interacting with attendees and allowing for as much communication as possible at each event. She openly shares her experiences, frustrations, and ability to overcome with strength at each session.
Kimberly literally lives her mission, showcasing her message with several inspirational and meaningful tattoos as well as on her license plates, which read HV FTH (Have Faith).
