Khaled had recently worked at Samsung Electronics where he had been heading the Enterprise business unit delivering US$350 M revenue in the Gulf region. He had redefined the unit’s vision and put together a strategic plan that grew the business 87% in a span of two quarters.
Prior to his assignment at Samsung, Khaled was the Regional Channel Director at Brocade for MENA and had set - and led the execution of - a highly channel-driven business strategy, involving in-depth analysis of market trends to increase the performance of existing channel partners and to identify new ones for Brocade's growing business. Channel business grew five folds, in high profits, in only two years.
Khaled worked for two years as the Middle East, Egypt and Pakistan Regional Managing Director at Lenovo. Khaled was awarded the best performing manager in EMEA in his first six months and with the team, grew share in every country.
Right before that Khaled was the Country Manager for hp in Saudi Arabia for two and a half years. Khaled joined HP in 2000 as Business Development Manager for Large Format Printers in the Middle-East and in just one month was promoted to also manage the sales of PC’s, servers and laptops in the Gulf and Levant regions. Khaled proved to be instrumental to the growth of HP laptops in these regions. Due to his vast and rapid success within HP, after the 2002 merger, Khaled was appointed as the Country Manager for Imaging and Printing Group in the Gulf and Iran region.
A professional consultant, coach and highly profiled senior level leader offering services all over the Middle East and Africa region, Khaled has a deep understanding of Multinational organizations, American, European, Chinese, Korean, Middle Eastern and Indian Sub-Continent culture and has been in the IT, Retail, Enterprise Business Management fields since the early 1990’s. He had worked for distributors and resellers of software and hardware vendors including AutoDesk, HP and IBM. The invaluable experience gained during those years undoubtedly prepared him for his productive and successful career.
Khaled lives in the United Arab Emirates and had worked and lived in USA, Egypt, UAE and Saudi Arabia and has extensive experience in the Gulf region, Iran included. Khaled speaks fluent Arabic and English and communicates fairly in Farsi. Nowadays, Khaled is brushing up on his French, Italian and Spanish.
Enrolled for his Doctor of Management degree with the University of Phoenix, Khaled holds a Bachelor degree in Architecture from USA as well as an MBA from the American University in Dubai.
