Kelly Davidson

Aquaculture and Agriculture Marketing

Kelly Davidson is a faculty member in the Department of Agriculture, Geosciences, and Natural Resources at the University of Tennessee at Martin. A lecturer of agricultural business, some of her courses include Farm and Ranch Management, Natural Resource Economics, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Marketing, and Agricultural Management. Prior to teaching at UT Martin, Ms. Davidson served as a Fisheries Economics Specialist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, Honolulu, Hawaii. Her research concentrated on the economics of seafood markets, specifically consumer preferences for aquaculture products. Ms. Davidson graduated with a Master's of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky. She has very strong ties to farming, having grown up on a grain and cattle farm, and she is excited about opportunities on the horizon for the aquaculture industry.
