I’m an ageing and dementia researcher, educator and founder of Anchor Dementia Care, with a background spanning psychology, adult learning, coaching and family caregiving.
My work is particularly focused on the human side of ageing and dementia — personhood, communication, autonomy, relationships and psychosocial wellbeing. I’m interested in how people and families navigate change while preserving identity, connection and a sense of control.
I hold an MSc in Psychology with Distinction from the University of Hertfordshire and am continuing postgraduate study in dementia care. Through my work with Anchor Dementia Care, I develop practical, psychology-informed education and resources to support families living with dementia and the professionals who work alongside them.
Earlier in my career, I created courses in personal development, intuition and wellbeing. Those experiences shaped my interest in how people make meaning, navigate life transitions and develop greater self-awareness. While my professional focus has since evolved, I remain passionate about lifelong learning and bringing together evidence, lived experience and practical insight.
I believe good education should be accessible, compassionate and useful — helping people understand themselves and others a little better, and ultimately live with greater clarity, connection and purpose.
