Katherine is the ocean data training lead for the VITALITY Project, which is an industry training and readiness initiative funded by Canada's Ocean Supercluster. As the training lead, she works with many different organizations and institutions in Atlantic Canada and beyond to develop courses that help students and professionals improve their capacity to work with ocean data. She holds a Master of Information degree from Dalhousie University, and currently resides in Nova Scotia.
