Julia is an experienced producer, film director and educator based in London. She is a founder of Shortlisted Productions, a company specialising in educational content. She has produced multiple video courses for Udemy, where she has over 30000 students.

Julia has been teaching a wide range of the topics from climate change, decarbonisation, energy transition to digital technologies, data science and machine learning, and AI filmmaking. 

Currently Julia explores the opportunities arising from the latest Generative AI technologies and enjoys the creative side of it. Her short AI films won the “Best AI Visuals” and “Best AI Music” awards at the AI International Film Festival in September 2025 in Los Angeles, and the bronze award for the “Best AI music video” at the Seoul International Film Festival in December 2025 in South Korea.  

Professionally, she is a management consultant, project, programme and change manager, media producer/director with 20 years of experience in financial services industry (operations and consulting) and 15+ years of experience in media/video production industry. She has masters in Banking and Finance, and she is a qualified Management Accountant (CIMA).

Her filmmaking skills are certified by the London Film Academy (LFA) and AI Filmmaking - by SYNTX School. She has produced a number of short films, and has been a winner in 2024 and runner up in 2025 at the "Doc in a day" competition organised by the London Documentary Network (LDN).
