Joseph Jay Mellon is a Certified Marriage Educator (CME) through the National Marriage Centers, in association with the National Premarital Institute. He has conducted countless interactive lectures about The Melfox Method and effective conflict resolution.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Joe is a trained problem solver with professional experience as an engineer, reconciliation specialist, and systems manager. As a plaque on his wall says, an engineer’s responsibility is to “list the questions, gather the facts, and solve the problem” – an approach that also applies strongly to his take on personal relationships.
Mellon’s passion for the subject of conflict resolution was born from a burning desire to fully understand what causes relationships to fail, and why. That desire led him on an exhaustive expedition of research and learning that became the foundation of his book, Curiosity Killed The Spat: The Melfox Method for Relationship Health through Effective Conflict Resolution.
