John has over 18 years experience in the IT industry and with large government projects. He has held a variety of roles, including CEO of the U-START project office for the Ministry Of Education (MOE), the largest entrepreneurial competition in Taiwan, CEO of the Innovation & Incubation Center for Chinese Culture University, and Vice President for the Chinese Digital Content Association.
Prior to his current roles, John has eight years experience with the Information Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and the Institute of Information Industry (III), which are the largest and second largest IT research institutes for the Taiwanese government, and has led some spin-off and startup businesses with joint-venture investment projects. John was also a software consultant for Fortune 500 companies, such as Microsoft Taiwan, IBM Taiwan, , PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Huawei .... etc.
As a professor and professional consultant, John has a broad relationship with universities, government agencies, and large enterprises in Taiwan and Mainland China. He has helped many famous large companies to develop market and invest in Taiwan and Mainland China. John got his DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) degree from the Leeds Beckett University in UK, and an MBA from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan.
