Joan Gregerson studied to become a Holistic Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She has worked as a Wellness Coach on the Tobacco Quitline for National Jewish Hospital, as a "lunch lady" for Denver Public Schools and as a "Juicista" at a juice bar. 

Joan has over 20 years experience as an engineer as well, working in the fields of sustainability and building energy efficiency. Joan turned to Wellness Coaching to help people connect their eating to spirituality, nature, inner wisdom and community. Joan offers a 12-month program "Food Freedom Naturally" to support and mentor serious students who want to overcome struggles with food and reclaim their ability to lose weight. In this program, students get a weekly lesson and work on big picture issues, as well as practical stress-management techniques such as breathing exercises and mindful eating. In addition, students learn to make raw cookies, kombucha, sauerkraut, soups, salads, dressings and more! Joan offers a free one-hour video training to teach the Six Key Principles of Food Freedom in the Era of Processed Food. 

Joan is also the author of "Tuning In to Inner Peace: The Surprisingly Fun Way To Transform Your Life". Joan brings her skills and insights as a mom, international traveler, and English teacher to play in her teaching style. She makes classes fun and engaging and teaches systems that allow innovation, rather than tedious details. 

Joan's passion is to help people experience the awe of life by reconnecting with real food again. And with this transformation, it's her hope that her students will help learn from and protect the beautiful planet that supports us all.
