Cybersecurity Educator | IAM & Agentic AI Specialist
About me
I’m a cybersecurity educator specializing in Identity & Access Management (IAM), defensive security, and agentic AI systems. My passion is helping beginners bridge the gap to exams such as Cysa+ and Microsoft's SC‑300 exam and guiding career changers and lifelong learners into IAM and SOC with clarity, confidence, and practical skill.
I began my cybersecurity journey at the age of 63, proving that it’s never too late to pursue what inspires you. Like many of my students, I’m actively working toward a role in the IAM field, using each course I create to strengthen my own capabilities while teaching others. Along the way, I’ve earned CompTIA's Security+, Google’s Cybersecurity Certificate, and CompTIA's CySA+ (CS0-003). Other skills & experience includes hands‑on log analysis, threat detection, and SOC fundamentals.
Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals and Azure Fundamentals
Recognized in Marquis Who’s Who 2026 for work in AI, AI governance, and cybersecurity.
I provide free external resources to support hands‑on IAM learning. All my courses include access to a free PBQ generator that lets you create your own exam‑style performance‑based questions for SC‑300, IAM Fundamentals, Governance, CyberArk, and more.
To deepen my defensive capabilities, I built a full suite of CySA+‑style log‑analysis practice tests from scratch, transforming raw security events into realistic, scenario‑based questions. This process sharpened my own analytical skills while producing accessible, beginner‑friendly resources for learners who want to understand security logs without feeling overwhelmed.
I hold a B.A. and a Post‑Graduate Diploma in Library Information Management, and I bring that background into my teaching: structured learning, clear explanations, and a focus on making complex information understandable. I’ve sat the SC‑300 twice and am determined to succeed on my third attempt — showing learners that persistence, resilience, and iteration are part of the cybersecurity journey.
My long‑term goal is to automate IAM and SOC workflows using agentic AI wherever possible. To support that mission, I completed Design, Develop, and Deploy Multi‑Agent Systems with CrewAI, gaining hands‑on experience building orchestrated, autonomous agents capable of assisting with identity governance, log analysis, and security operations. I integrate these emerging capabilities into my teaching so learners can prepare not only for today’s IAM l& SOC landscapes, but for the AI‑augmented future ahead.
Through CyberZenLife, I design scenario‑based labs and guided exercises that turn complex security concepts into clear, teachable steps. My mission is to empower learners worldwide to master IAM & SOC fundamentals, build confidence with defensive security concepts, embrace agentic AI tools, and inspire others by teaching what they learn.
