About The Trainer / Facilitator Jessica Hao

My name is Jessica, my professional background is in accounting and finance. Over almost 20 years, I worked in both professional firms as well as commercial line. I started off with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Audit & Assurance, and Merger & Acquisition departments, and thereafter I joined commercial line as a financial controller for a few MNCs heading the finance and accounting department covering full spectrum of financial activities.  For the last 5 years I have been running my own firm, specializing in accounting and corporate services, tax advisory, and training.

I graduated with a MBA degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore (NTU). I am a Chartered Accountant for Singapore, Australia and UK. My work requires me to handle various tasks in Business Analytical Reporting, Financial Planning, Budget Preparations, etc., this exposes me to different types of softwares which make life of financial professionals easier. I would like to share my experience with you, so that you will be able to meet the deadlines without sacrificing your time and health, yet still be able to produce quality reports.

I am a certified trainer by Singapore Work Development Agency (WDA), and the only authorized trainer for Intuit for their cloud based accounting software Quickbooks Online in Singapore. I am training end users and accounting professionals. I am passionate about training and sharing, as I believe learning is not a one way activity, it requires everyone’s involvement during the process.

I’ve been there and I know how it feels. Whenever I hear someone commenting that the course they attended, has no practical value as they cannot apply the knowledge, I can feel their frustration. Application of knowledge not only confirms the fact of learning, it also reinforced the memory on what has been transferred during the learning process and making sure learners do bring home the skills and knowledge that they set to obtain at the start of the learning journey.
